| The Retail Expansion Program |
The purpose of the Retail Expansion Program ("REP") is to encourage the private sector to develop new large-scale retail facilities (including hotels and motels) within the City of Redlands redevelopment areas. The Agency's primary goal is to expand, diversify and stabilize the City's economy. In that regard, the REP will encourage the private sector to establish new large-scale retail outlets (of 20,000 square feet or more), create new jobs and increase property values in Redlands. Qualifying businesses are eligible for up to $300,000-worth of assistance.

| The Commercial Rehabilitation Program |
The purpose of the Commercial Rehabilitation Program (“CRP”) is to assist in stabilizing the City's economy by providing financial resources to improve and enhance the appearance and functionality of commercial buildings located within a project area of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redlands. The CRP provides up to $50,000-worth of assistance per property and emphasizes corrections of code violations and exterior beautification enhancements.

| Downtown Storefront Awning Improvement Program |
The Program has been established to provide financial assistance to property owners or tenants of commercial buildings located in the traditional downtown area to replace any legally existing deteriorated awning and/or appurtenant framework, improvements and/or parts on their building that faces a public street (the "Eligible Awning"). The traditional downtown consists of those properties located within the Redlands Redevelopment Project Area that are also south of Redlands Boulevard and east of Orange/Cajon Streets (the "Target Area").

| Downtown Storefront Repainting Program |
The Program has been established to provide financial assistance to property owners or tenants of commercial buildings located in the traditional downtown area to repaint any exterior building surface visible from a public street for the purpose of correcting an actual code violation or possible code deficiency (the "Eligible Repainting"). Possible code violations means a condition determined by Program Staff that a building has a defective exterior paint condition that could warrant a code violation pursuant to the Redlands Municipal Code. Color selection is limited to either the building's pre-existing color or a color selected from the Program's approved color pallet. The traditional downtown area consists of those properties located within the Redlands Redevelopment Area that are also south of Redlands Boulevard and east of Orange/Cajon Streets (the "Target Area").

The Program has been established to provide financial assistance to property owners or tenants of commercial buildings located in the traditional downtown area to install anti-graffiti film on the ground level glass windows or doors of their building that face a public street (the "Eligible Glass Surface"). The traditional downtown consists of those properties located within the Redlands Redevelopment Project Area that are south of Redlands Boulevard and east of Orange/Cajon Streets (the "Target Area").
